The Province of Maguindanao is one of our favorite places not only in ARMM but in the whole of Mindanao.

In Maguindanao, there are so much to discover, a lot of things to do, and a lot of interesting places to go to. Below are just some of the attractions in Maguindanao you must see and experience this year:

Go on a Nature Trip

In Municipality of Datu Odin Sinsuat, there's the famous Blue Lagoon, the Hundred Steps Spring, Sifaran Falls, and Mt. Minandar which will surely test your endurance.

The majestic Ranao Pilayan Falls in Municipality of Upi, Rawadin Falls in South Upi and Tubaran Falls in Parang are also places to visit and enjoyed by the locals.

Celebrate Maguindanao Festivals

Maguindanao's grandest celebration is held every month of February - the Inaul Festival which celebrates the province's pride, rich culture and heritage.

The Kulintang Festival of Datu Piang celebrated every month of November and Meguyaya Festival of Upi town every December are also a must-experienced.

Go on a Mosque- hopping

Some of the country's popular mosques are found in Maguindanao. These include the famous Pink Mosque or Masjid Dimaukom in Datu Saudi, the White Mosque or Masjid Nasser Abpi in Datu Odin Sinsuat and Masjid Buluan, the biggest mosque in Buluan, the capital of the province of Maguindanao.

Visit historical destinations in Maguindanao

The Maliga Walay, the historic building in Datu Piang which houses old brasswares and antique collections, the tomb of Muslim hero General Salipada K. Pendatun, and the Maguindanao Massacre site in Ampatuan are just some of the places to visit.
