MyMindanao.com is thankful to the Department of Tourism- Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (DOT-ARMM) especially to Regional Secretary Bai Ayesha Mangudadatu- Dilangalen for inviting us during the celebration of the very first Inaul Festival of the Province of Maguindanao last month.
Held from February 10-14, 2017 in the town of Buluan, the new capital of the Province of Maguindanao, the Inaul Festival showcased Inaul- the prized fabric of the Maguindanaons through exciting and colorful activities.
One of these events is the Dindang sa Lalan or the street dancing competition held on February 14 wherein eight (8) contingents coming from different towns of Maguindanao Province participated. The event never failed to amazed us and thousands of other spectators as street dancers in their colorful costumes showcased the rich culture of Maguindanao through their dances and music.
