Powdery white sand, crystal clear waters, untouched - a PARADISE. That's how I can describe Panampangan Island one of the 300+ islands comprising the Province of Tawi-Tawi.
It is actually the most beautiful island that I've been to so far.
Situated some 45 minutes- 1 hour away from Bongao, the capital of Tawi-Tawi via a speedboat, Panampangan Island is part of the municipality of Sapa-Sapa. I was lucky to have traveled there last month and was really amazed with the beauty of the island. Thankful to DOT-ARMM headed by Regional Secretary Ayesha Mangudadatu Dilangalen for the opportunity to visit Tawi-Tawi.
Everything there at Panampangan Island was breathtaking. The white sand was the finest and the sandbar was the longest i've seen!
