Magnolia de Luna from City of Tacurong was crowned Mutya ng Sultan Kudarat 2017 after a very tight competition held last night November 19 at the Sultan Kudarat Provincial Capitol in Isulan.
Other finalists were the candidates from the municipalities of Senator Ninoy Aquino, Columbio, Kalamansig and Lutayan.
All five had to answer the final question of the night which is "What do you think is the most beautiful asset of Sultan Kudarat and what will you do to preserve it?"
"The people itself, i do believe that Sultan Kudarateno is the most important asset of our province, because we are the one enriching our province, we are the one contributing to its progress.. i do believe that we can preserve it by having unity despite diversity.. we have different culture, we have tri-people - the Lumads, the Christians and the Muslims, we preserve humanity in our land because we accept that we are different, we never failed to accept our beautiful differences.." answered Magnolia de Luna,
