Inaul, the famous hand-woven fabric of the Maguindanaons will once again take center stage this February as the Province of Maguindanao is set to celebrate the 2nd Inaul Festival.
A week-long celebration, the Inaul Festival is Maguindanao province's biggest and grandest celebration. It will not only showcase the prized Inaul fabric but also the rich culture and traditions of the people of Maguindanao.
All the 36 local government units of the Province of Maguindanao are expected to participate in this year's Inaul Festival as exciting activities are by being prepared by the provincial government. Among these is the Sagayan dance competition, Socio-Ethnic activities, Inaul Fashion Show, Maguindanaon Song and Kulintang competitions, Kambayuka Exhibition and Palamata nu Maguindanao.
Also expected to draw tourists is the International Airsoft Tournament, the float design competition and the Dindang sa Lalan or street dancing competition.
The provincial government of Maguindanao is also bringing in celebrities, artists and popular bands to join in the celebration of Inaul Festival 2018. Among them is Rocksteddy, Hail, Mayonnaise, 6 Cyclemind, Silent Sanctuary, Madeline, Aia De Leon and many more.
