John Denvert Rule Sanoria, a graduate of Davao Central College topped the December 2017 Criminologist Board Examination with a rating of 89.50% while Kimberly Baraquia Claveria from Sultan Kudarat State University - Tacurong Campus placed 2nd with a rating of 89.20%.
According to the result released by the Professional Regulation Commission on January 12, 2018, a total of 13,025 out of 36,516 examinees successfully passed the said examination.
Four (4) other Mindanaoans made it to the list of top 10 passers. They are from University of Mindanao- Tagum, University of Mindanao - Davao City, Notre Dame of Midsayap College in Midsayap, Cotabato Province and Cor Jesu College in Digos City.
