The street dancing competition is one of the major and highly-anticipated events of every festivals in the country. In Inaul Festival of Maguindanao, they call it "Dindang sa Lalan", the Maguindanaon term for street dancing.
Inaul Festival is the grandest and biggest annual celebration in Province of Maguindanao. Held usually from February 8-14 in Buluan town, this week-long celebration showcases the bests of Maguindanao Province - their rich culture, foods, traditions, among others.
Shown in the video is the performance of the contingent from Upi, Maguindanao, the Champion of Dindang sa Lalan during the 1st Inaul Festival in February 2017.
