Members of President Rodrigo Duterte's family are expected to visit the Province of Maguindanao during the Inaul Festival 2018 celebration set from February 8-14.
Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio is also expected to lead the ceremonial turnover of custom-built food carts to poor street vendors in Maguindanao.
Also expected to visit Maguindanao is Mayor Sara’s younger brother - Sebastian “Baste” Duterte. The Presidential Son will be the principal guest in the coronation night of “Palamata Nu Maguindanao” beauty pageant to be held on February 12.
Meanwhile, Governor Mangudadatu said he is hoping that his invitation for President Duterte to come over on February 13 will have positive response from Malacanang.
The President will lead the ceremonial ground breaking of the proposed PhP100-million Maguindanao Sports Center in Buluan.
In a report, Maguindanao Governor Esmael Mangudadatu has confirmed that the Presidential daughter and Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte-Carprio will be attending the Inaul Festival. She will lead the inauguration of the newly-completed Negosyo Center building in Buluan, Maguindanao on February 8 which is also the opening of the week-long Inaul Festival.
Inaul is a Maguindanaon hand woven fabric which has become one of the cultural emblems of Maguindanao.
