The Municipality of Upi is about 30-45 minutes away from Cotabato City. There are public transports including vans, multicab and motorcycle (habal-habal) in Awang, DOS, Maguindanao that can take you to Nuro,Upi.
In Nuro, Upi, dropped by and register at the Tourism Office located just beside the Municipal Hall of Upi. Tourism personnel can assist you to look for a ride going to Brgy. Ranao Pilayan. Travel time is about 20-30 minutes taking the national road going to Lebak.
At Crossing Ranao, there are habal-habal that can take you to the jump-off area for Ranao Pilayan Falls which is the house of the Brgy. Chairman. The habal-habal ride will be around 8-10 minutes.
