Seven (7) groups will vie against each other in the street dancing competition and twelve (12) floats will parade in the main streets of Maasim on Friday, June 21 as part of the 12th Kestebeng Festival and 50th Foundation Anniversary celebrations.
"We have more street dancing participants this year compared to last year. There are three additional contingents joining the street dancing competition this year which will depict in their performances our way of life in Maasim, our rich culture, and the unity and cooperation among the people despite diversity," said Rosario Mantua, the Municipal Tourism Officer.
Below is the list of contingents for the street dancing competition on Friday:

2. Aniceto Lopez National High School
3. Blat Integrated School
4. Happy Valley Integrated School
5. Lamlasong Integrated School & Bongo Integrated School
6. Rogaya Integrated School
7. Kablacan Integrated School
This year's Kestebeng Festival theme is "Maasim at 50 Celebrating Breakthrough and Embracing Diversity."
The parade will start at around 12 noon from Maasim Central Elementary School to the main streets of Maasim and the Municipal Grounds for the street dancing showdown and anniversary program.
