Different activities celebrating the rich culture, traditions and the bounties of South Cotabato are held during Tnalak Festival.
The main highlight of Tnalak Festival is the street dancing competition held during the final day of the festivities - every July 18, which is the foundation anniversary of South Cotabato.
The Tnalak Festival Street Dancing Competition is participated by contingents coming from different LGUs in the province. It has three (3) categories which makes it as one of the most colorful street dancing competitions in Mindanao. These categories are Madal Be'lan, Kadsagayan A Lalan, and the Kasadyahan sa Kapatagan
The Madal Be'lan category features the rich indigenous culture of the Tboli and Blaan tribes of South Cotabato while the Kasadyahan sa Kapatagan category celebrates the bountiful harvest and the lives of the Christian settlers in the province. And the colorful culture of the Moro people in South Cotabato - their dances and music are also highlighted through the Kadsagayan A Lalan category.
