Maguindanao Pride: Resham Saeed crowned Bb. Pilipinas Supranational 2019

Resham Ramirez Saeed from Province of Maguindanao was among the big winners in last night's Binibining Pilipinas 2019 Coronation Night. Saeed, 25 years old, took home one of the six coveted crowns this year in the country's most prestigious beauty pageant - she was named Bb. Pilipinas-Supranational 2019.

The Filipino-Pakistani beauty from Buluan, Maguindanao was a former Miss Philippines Canada title holder and a model. 

“I would say that history has shown us that Filipinos are very good at remaining steadfast despite any hardships or any violent shown towards us.. we do not stand for discrimination and I would say that if you’ve lost your way, turn back to God and walk towards him.” answered Saeed when asked about migration and migrating which became the most searched words on Google recently, and her message to those disheartened Filipinos who seem to have lost hope for the country.

A total of 40 lovely Filipino women competed for six (6)  Bb. Pilipinas titles this year namely: Bb. Pilipinas Universe 2019, Bb. Pilipinas International 2019, Bb. Pilipinas Supranational 2019, Bb. Pilipinas Grand International 2019, Bb. Pilipinas Intercontinental 2019 and Bb. Pilipinas Globe 2019.
