For only P50, one may eat all the fruits that they want including lanzones, rambutan, mangosteen, marang and durian.
"All this 15 tons of fruits were bought and supplied by farmers and fruit growers here in Kidapawan City", said Joey Recimilla, City Tourism Officer.
Kidapawan City is dubbed as the "City of Fruits and Highland Springs" and the "Fruit Basket" of Cotabato.
"We are serving at least 3 tons of fruits everyday for the Fruits-Eat-All-You-Can from August 14-18", Recimilla added.
Timpupo is a Manobo and Bisaya term for "harvest" and is often used to describe harvesting fruits.
The festival is held during the harvest season which is usually every month of August to showcase the bountiful harvest of tropical fruits as well as to celebrate the life of Kidapawan City's tribe and culture.
