Candidate No. 5 Magda Michaella Belimac bested seven (7) other lovely candidates to be crowned Mutya ng Glan 2019 during the Coronation Night held at the Glan Municipal Gymnasium, Sunday night, October 6.
Stunning in her yellow gown, Belimac, 21 year-old, impressed the judges as well as spectators in the jampacked Municipal Gymnasium in the preliminary interview. And she easily became the crowd favorite to win the crown after her convincing answer in the final question and answer portion.
She was also named Best in Interview and Best in Evening Gown.
Meanwhile, another top contender for the crown Candidate No. 8 Rich Cell Maye Balazon won the Mutya ng Glan 2019 - Tourism title. She also bagged most of the minor awards including the People's Choice Award, Miss Friendship, Miss Photogenic, Best in Production Number, Best in Coco Waki Attire, Best in Casual Attire, Best in Playsuit, and was named Best Performer.
Candidate No.4 Shannon Aubrey Fernandez took home the Mutya ng Glan 2019 - Colony 9 title while candidate #7 Justin Joy Garino and candidate #6 Shahara Danggao was adjudged 1st Runner-up and 2nd Runner-up, respectively.
The Mutya ng Glan pageant is among the highlights of the annual Lubi-Lubi sa Glan Festival and the Founding Anniversary celebration of Municipality of Glan.
The winner, and new "Ambassadress of Goodwill" of Municipality of Glan will represent the town in other beauty pageants including the Pearl of Sarangani this November.
