Candidate No. 10 Francesca Lim of Municipality of Alabel was crowned Pearl of Sarangani 2019 succeeding Frenzie Dionne Escalada as the queen of the province during the beauty pageant’s coronation night held last night at the Provincial Capitol Grounds.
The 17-year old Senior High School student was also named as Miss Millennial Philippines - Sarangani 2019 and will represent the Province of Sarangani in Eat Bulaga next year. She also bagged minor awards including Best in Production, Best in Evening Gown and Best in Playsuit.
Nicole N. Suarez of Municipality of Kiamba took home the Pearl of Sarangani 2019 - Tourism title while Zyrene Jan Inog also from Kiamba was Pearl of Sarangani 2019 - Miss Munato.
Rounding out the Top 5 are Nikki Tumulto (Alabel) and Aya Balazon (Glan) as 1st and 2nd runner-up, respectively.
This year's Pearl of Sarangani featured the works of artisans in the province including the Blaan igem (mat) by Gawad Manlilikha ng Bayan (National Living Treasure) awardee Bai Estelita Bantilan as well as tourist destinations in Sarangani.
