Sultan Kudarat's newest beauty queens were hailed on Thursday, November 20 during the coronation night of Mutya ng Sultan Kudarat 2019 at the Provincial Gymnasium in Isulan.
Blanche Nicole Morales of Municipality of Lebak was crowned Mutya ng Sultan Kudarat 2019, while Iman Salah of President Quirino and Janell Frigillana of City of Tacurong were named Mutya ng Sultan Kudarat 2019 - Tourism and Mutya ng Sultan Kudarat 2019 - Culture and Arts, respectively.
The newly-crowned Mutya ng Sultan Kudarat 2019 is an educator and a mental health awareness advocate.
"I really want to be an instrument, to help those people who are in need. Yes, it'll not be easy but it'll be totally worth it. If we can cope from our own monsters, then, that's the time we can think great things that we can execute for the betterment of ourselves, to our fellow people and yes, it may be a shallow for some but if you're doing good with your life, you can create a big impact to the world we live in, ofc with full support from family and friends also," said Morales regarding her advocacy in a Facebook post days before the pageant.
Meanwhile, Lorraine Jane Apud from Municipality of Esperanza bagged the 1st Runner-up while Allysa Mae Nicholls of Municipality of Isulan settled as 2nd Runner-up.
The Search for Mutya ng Sultan Kudarat is one of the highlights of the annual Kalimudan Festival and Foundation Anniversary celebrations of Province of Sultan Kudarat.
