Sharing here some of the photos I personally took from my recent visit in Panglima Sugala in Tawi-Tawi to witness and experience the Adlaw Pagtabuh-tabuh or Market Day.
Every Saturday, the Sama and Badjao people, farmers and fisherfolks, of Panglima Sugala flock the town market in Brgy. Batu-batu to sell their fresh catch, dried fish, crops and other agricultural products in very low prices.

With the traditional way of barter still being practiced during the market day, even residents of neighboring towns and tourists would come during the Adlaw Pagtabuh-tabuh. One can offer his agricultural products, even used clothings and other stuff in exchange for fresh marine products or seafood, and vice versa. Check out the following photos:
