Ismael is a native Tausug-Iranun who advocates youth empowerment, and peace and development in the Bangsamoro region, aiming to create greater communities to change the lives of the youth and relies on the development of individual capacity in the community and encourage children and young people to take charge of their everyday lives in creating a protective environment for the children’s protection and their families.
Currently, Ismael is the Founder and Managing Director of The Moro Peace Project, Inc.; Deputy Lead Ambassador for BARMM and served as the concurrent Chief Peace Advocate of the Global Institute for Youth Development, Inc. - Philippines (GIYD-PH); Global Peace Ambassador to the Philippines of the Global Peace Chain; Philippines’ Representative of the Global Youth Model United Nations (GYMUN); Executive Consultant of the Southeast Asia Young Peacebuilders Organization (SEAYPO); and Country Ambassador for Michael Madsuhudan Debate Federation in Bangladesh.
He attended various youth leadership trainings and conventions within and outside Mindanao, and earned his Master Degree in Public Administration at the then Cotabato City State Polytechnic College (CCSPC), also known today as the Cotabato State University (CSU). Also, a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Business Administration: Major in Marketing Management from the same school.
Recently, Ismael bagged an award as the 2022 Outstanding Leader of the Year from the International Icon Awards, and 2022 Outstanding Leader from the International Leaders and Achievers Awards.
He is also the founder of the Fort Rock Productions and FR Event Productions; a member of the Rotary Club - South District in Cotabato City; and member of the One Bangsamoro Organization, a local organization of the scions of the Moro Fronts, which aims to support the current leadership of the BARMM Government and promotes peace and unity for the children of the Bangsamoro.
He was born on May 13, 1988 — son of the late Bangsamoro Top 300, Foreign-trained Front Commander, Nadzmi Abdurahman Ismael, who fought for the rights of the Bangsamoro people during the time of conflict in the southern part of Mindanao particularly in the Province of Basilan (1970s-1980s).
His mother, Hadja Nursia Babul Mukaram-Ismael, hails from Barangay Linuho, Parang Municipality, Sulu Province.
Ismael aims to promote peace and development in the Bangsamoro, and advocate the rights of his young Muslim brothers and sisters to help them organize the communities in supporting to transform conflicts, and advance the peace capabilities of individuals, groups, societies and institutions through a sustainable culture of peace in the communities towards a well-developed and a peaceful Bangsamoro region.
