Elected and former officials from Lanao del Sur took their oath as members of the Partido Federal ng Pilipinas (PFP) before PFP National President and South Cotabato Governor Reynaldo Tamayo, Jr. in a ceremony held at the Governor's Office at the Provincial Capitol in Koronadal City, Wednesday, January 31, 2024.
The oath-taking ceremony saw the commitment of prominent figures from Lanao del Sur to the principles and advocacies of the PFP. Among those who officially joined the party are Mayor Nassif Maruhom and Vice Mayor Actor Maruhom of Marogong, Lanao del Sur; Mayor Sual Dimaporo of Binidayan, Lanao del Sur; Mayor Tenney Ducol of Pualas, Lanao del Sur; Mayor Abdul Hakim Benito of Calanogas, Lanao del Sur; Mayor Mohaimen Dipatuan of Bacolod Kalawi, Lanao del Sur; Mayor Hamza Gauraki of Kapai, Lanao del Sur; Mayor Saidamen Axel Adiong of Ditsaan Ramain, Lanao del Sur; Vice Mayor Chio Cornell of Marantao, Lanao del Sur; and Mayor Jamal Asum of Lumbayanague, Lanao del Sur.
Also present during the oath-taking ceremony were distinguished personalities like former Congressman Jun Papandayan, General Manager Liklik Dipatuan Ducol of LASURECO, and Turkey Panantuan of UBJP - Lanao del Sur.
PFP Lanao del Sur Provincial Chairman Fiat Macarambon and LTO-12 Regional Director Melharrieh "King" Tomawis were also present to witness the momentous occasion.
In his Facebook post, Governor Tamayo encouraged everyone to embrace the principles and advocacies of the Partido Federal ng Pilipinas. He expressed anticipation for more elected officials and personalities from various parts of the country to join the party in the coming days, aligning themselves with the ideals of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr who is also the Chairman of Partido Federal ng Pilipinas.
